Grind
and brew coffee makers are renowned for their ability to brew a pot
of coffee that has rich, full flavour. This is because a grind and
brew machine has grinding the coffee beans as step one. When your beans
are fresh ground, they have fresher flavour. When coffee sits in a
can, it starts to lose flavour, as the bean’s protective shell
is already ground away.
A grind and brew, however, like a Brewmaster
coffee maker, or a Bunn coffee maker, can allow you to get what you
want at a reasonable price. Using grind and brew coffee makers let
you have a nice cup that tastes as though it was made in a coffee shop.
A Brewmaster coffee maker, and other brands
There are many brands of coffee making machine that you can buy
for your kitchen. It is also possible to get latte type machines
and espresso machines that
allow you to grind as step one as well.
While you can get separate grinders, many people prefer to have an
all in one that automatically grinds before hand. It is important,
however, to note that most grind and brew makers use blades rather
than burrs. When you buy a burr mill to grind your coffee, you have
more consistency throughout. But blades are not bad, but burrs are
better, especially if you plan to make
cappuccino.
Brewmaster offers
an electric brand of grind and brew, as does Cuisinart,
Farberware,
kitchenaid, Jura,
Bunn and Saeco. Some of these even feature easy cleaning. This
is because some more traditional coffee makers can be rather
difficult to clean. The coffee burns to the element, or spills
over or stains the carafe. New machines feature over flow protection
to prevent spills. Additionally, automatic shut off and temperature
control helps keep the coffee from burning or staining. Many
machines are now dishwasher safe, making the whole cleaning
thing a non-issue. Each brand has its own strengths and weaknesses,
and so it is important for you to carefully consider which
you would like to buy, and which would best fit your needs.
But there is no question that you can enjoy richer flavour
and fresher coffee when you invest in grind and brew coffee
makers.
